Lorànt Deutsch records his voice in front of a microphone while watching a screen. He is in the G4F studios in Angoulême.

Lorànt Deutsch was recently in Angoulême, at the G4F Lab studio, at the invitation of Jérôme Sourisseau, to record the voiceover for the sound and light show The Fabulous Story of Cognac, scheduled from July 9 to 12, 2026, in Bourg-Charente. A meeting point between heritage, storytelling and sound creation — and an opportunity for the actor to share his passion for history… and for the Charente region.

🎙️Giving a Voice to History: When Cognac Becomes a Sonic Experience

In Angoulême, history is no longer just read — it is heard, felt and experienced. With The Fabulous Story of Cognac, storytelling becomes immersive, carried by the distinctive voice of Lorànt Deutsch.

Known for his ability to make history vivid and accessible, he embodies a true “modern storyteller,” conveying narratives and emotions through a powerful and engaging performance, in service of a rich heritage deeply rooted in its territory.

🏛️  Heritage Reimagined Through Sound

But telling the story of cognac is not just about recounting a timeline. It means bringing eras to life, giving substance to craftsmanship, and letting a territory be heard.

Through this show, the cultural richness of the Charente region takes on a new dimension. Voice becomes a vector of emotion, sound becomes a vessel of memory. Together, they create a sensory experience capable of reaching all audiences and reshaping how we engage with history.

🚀 A New Way to Tell Territorial Stories

This project fully embodies G4F Lab’s vision: using sound as a powerful tool to enhance and elevate stories.

Whether for heritage, culture or corporate communication, sonic storytelling transforms content into experience — and information into emotion. It creates connection, captures attention, and brings depth to narratives.

With The Fabulous Story of Cognac, a new way of storytelling emerges: more immersive, more embodied, more engaging — where voice becomes the thread that brings history to life.
