PRIVACY policy

Last updated: May 15, 2018

Preamble

G4F Prod is a French company with its registered office located at 69 Rue de la Grand Fond, 16000 Angoulême, France.
Hereinafter referred to as “G4F Prod” or “We”.

This privacy policy applies to all websites operated by G4F Prod.

The purpose of this privacy policy is to explain how we collect information regarding your interaction with this website without identifying you as an individual; how we use, manage, and disclose the collected information; and what choices you have regarding how we collect and use this data. We also aim to comply with applicable data protection and privacy laws.

What data do you collect?

We collect information automatically sent by your browser, which may include (but is not limited to) non-personally identifiable information (such as the date and time of your visit). The information we receive in this way depends on your browser settings. Please check your settings to learn what information your browser sends or how to modify those settings.

What tracking technologies do you use?

We collect non-personally identifiable information using web technologies including, but not limited to, cookies, persistent cookies, JavaScript tags, and web beacons (invisible pixels). As the Internet evolves, we may implement and use different types of technology for this purpose.

Cookies.

When you visit this website, your computer may receive one or more “cookies” to help us personalize and support your use of the site and/or our services. A “cookie” is a small text file transferred to your browser by a server, and which can later be read by another server from the same domain. If you do not wish to receive cookies, you can configure your browser to reject them or notify you when a cookie is set. For more information, see the section “What are my choices?” below. While you are not required to accept our cookies, some features and functionality of our site may not work properly if you do not.

Cookies allow a website to tailor the information presented to you (such as personalized content or targeted ads), and save time by storing your preferences or previous entries. Cookies generally do not personally identify you. However, if you have created an ID by interacting with our site, the cookie ID may be linked to personally identifiable information.

We may use both “session cookies” and “persistent cookies,” as described below.

Session cookies.

A session cookie is temporary and disappears when you close your browser. It assigns a unique, random ID to your computer for the duration of your visit. These help ensure features like shopping cart contents persist until checkout. We also use session cookies to collect anonymous information (such as which pages you visit and for how long) to improve the site.

Persistent cookies.

Unlike session cookies, persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire (e.g., after 30 days) or you delete them. These allow us to “tag” your computer so that the next time you visit, our server recognizes your device, enabling personalized experiences and more detailed behavior tracking. This helps us offer a more seamless and relevant experience across visits.

Web beacons (invisible pixels).

We may also use web beacons, tiny 1x1 pixel images placed on various parts of the site, to deliver cookies and gather anonymous usage data. These help identify browser types, search terms, referring domains, and IP addresses. If you’ve previously submitted personal information (e.g., by making a purchase), this anonymous data may be linked to that information. We also use beacons in emails to understand open rates and engagement with messages you’ve opted in to receive.

How do you use the anonymous data you collect?

We may use non-personally identifiable information to:

  • Customize and support your use of the website

  • Improve our site, advertising systems, products, and services

  • Track transactions from affiliate or referral programs

  • Provide targeted ads on this and other websites

  • Perform historical, statistical, research, or analytical functions

Our service providers.
We may work with affiliates or third-party companies to provide services on our behalf (e.g., hosting, payment processing, fraud detection, data integrity, customer service, email delivery, ad placement, etc.). These partners are contractually obligated to only use personal data to perform the services we request and to protect your information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes without your explicit opt-in consent.

Legal compliance, fraud prevention, and protection.
To the extent permitted by law, we may disclose your personal data without notifying you if we believe in good faith that such action is necessary to:

  • Comply with legal obligations or government requests (e.g., subpoena, investigation)

  • Prevent or investigate fraud or illegal activity

  • Enforce contracts

  • Protect the rights, property, or safety of G4F Prod, our affiliates, users, employees, or the public

  • Respond to security issues or investigate server logs in the event of suspicious activity

Business transitions.

If G4F Prod or any of its divisions is acquired, merged, dissolved, or reorganized, your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity, which will remain bound by this privacy policy and your expressed preferences.

What are my choices?

G4F Prod respects your right to choose how we collect, use, and share your information. You will typically be asked to indicate your preferences at the time you provide your personal data.

You may choose to subscribe to our newsletter or receive updates and promotional communications. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at contact@g4f-prod.com, specifying the type of communication you wish to stop.

If you accept cookies (session or persistent), you may delete them at any time from your browser. You can also configure your browser to reject cookies entirely or notify you when they are placed. Please note that disabling cookies may limit access to some features of our website.

We use third-party services (e.g., Google Analytics) to deliver advertisements and collect anonymous data on our behalf. These technologies may track your visits, interactions, and interest in our products. If you object to such tracking, cookies already placed can be deleted, and a new “opt-out” cookie can be set to prevent future tracking. If your browser is set to reject all cookies, this opt-out may not function correctly. Additionally, if you later delete cookies, switch devices, or change browsers, you will need to reapply your preferences.
